The Ultimate Crime Has Been Committed - Can You Save Your Relationship After Cheating?

Your relationship fell apart at the seams and shattered into a million pieces because you cheated. You now regret having the affair, and want to try to save your relationship after cheating. The affair was so exciting, but now that it is out in the open, you realize that your partner is the only one for you.
It is too late for regrets now - you have done the dirty deed and must face the consequences. You have betrayed your partner's trust in you, have hurt him/her very badly, and shattered the happiness that your ex was so secure in.
You can apologize all day, every day if you want to, but it is NOT going to make your ex feel any better - your apologies are going to fall on deaf ears. He/she realizes that you must have been seeing the other person behind his/her back, so you made a total laughing stock of them.

To try to save your relationship after cheating can only be described as a mammoth task. However, if you are prepared to take everything that is going to come your way because of your affair, then by all means give it a go.

It could be weeks or even months before your ex will talk to you again - are you patient enough for this? If and when the time comes that your ex does actually speak to you, will you be able to take the tongue-lashing that you are inevitably going to get?

If you do manage to get to this stage, it is not over yet, not by a long shot. Your ex is going to remind you daily of what you did to him/her. Another thing is, your ex doesn't trust you at all right now and is definitely going to be suspicious of your every move.

If you are still determined to try to save your relationship after cheating, then you must understand that it could take many months or years to accomplish, if ever.

Whether you are still together and trying to deal with infidelity or you are already separated and want to save your relationship... the next step is absolutely crucial!

Don't make the mistake of saying or doing something that will kill your chances of getting back together with your partner. Find out what you need to do to save your relationship and emotionally reconnect with her or him again.
